About Studyloaf

Studyloaf is a calm study companion: a focus timer, a syllabus tracker and worked explainers for GATE ECE, with a companion who keeps you company instead of guilt-tripping you.

Who is behind it

Studyloaf is run by Loaf (a pen name), a final-year Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) student. When Loaf has reviewed a post or Library page, it shows a “Reviewed by Loaf” line under its title, with the date of the review.

What is here

How pages are checked

  • Every number in a worked example is recomputed.
  • Every syllabus reference is checked against the official PDF, such as the GATE 2027 EC syllabus published by IIT Madras, and links to it.
  • Exam dates come from the official bulletins and websites. A date that hasn't been announced yet is marked as an estimate, with the reason for the estimate.
  • When a page's content changes, its “updated” date changes with it.

Found a mistake?

Please write to us with the page, the line that is wrong and, if you have one, a source. Exam rules change every year, and corrections from readers keep these pages accurate.

What Studyloaf is not

  • Studyloaf is independent. It is not affiliated with IIT Madras, the GATE organising committee, the National Testing Agency or any other exam body. Always confirm dates and rules on the official websites.
  • It is not a coaching institute and doesn't sell courses. Posts and Library pages show ads; the timer, tracker and other study tools don't.
  • Your study data stays on your device unless you sign in to sync it. See the privacy policy.
